The aim of this seminar series is to explore the culture, sciences, and intellectual traditions of the healing professions from a broad perspective and to bring them into dialogue.
By healing professions we refer to all fields that deal with illness, disturbances of well-being, and related symptoms in general.
In order to better understand the current situation of the healing professions, it is necessary to examine their history — that is, to engage with and critically discuss the ideas and approaches of those who have shaped these disciplines.
Each session consists of a lecture of approximately twenty to thirty minutes, followed by an open discussion with all participants.
Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions personally and deepen their understanding of the topics discussed.
The seminar sessions are led by Dr. Ana-Marija Markovina and Prof. Dr. Helmut Reuter.
